Kawader ERP — Spare Parts Distribution
Nobody walks in asking for a part number. They describe a car, and everything the business earns depends on getting from that description to the right shelf.
What a general system gets wrong here
The catalogue is the business
Original numbers, aftermarket equivalents and which vehicles a part fits. A customer arrives with a model and a year, and the counter has to turn that into one bin in seconds.
Supersession never stops
One new part replaces three old ones. The old stock has to sell through while the new is ordered, and both have to be findable under whichever number the customer brought.
Most lines move slowly, and that is the point
Stocking decisions are the whole margin. The slow lines earn their place only if the fast ones are never out, and knowing which is which needs history, not instinct.
The counter and the workshop share one bin
A part sold over the counter and one fitted in the bay come from the same stock, and both have to reserve it the moment they are promised.
