Kawader ERP — Plastics
A plastics floor breaks a general manufacturing system in two places: it consumes a material it produced itself, and its capacity is not the machine. Both are arithmetic, and both are wrong by default.
What a general system gets wrong here
Regrind goes back into the batch
Sprue and rejects are ground and fed back in. The plant is consuming a material it made, at a cost that is not the virgin price. A system that cannot do that either costs every batch at the price of new resin or loses the regrind entirely — and the gap between those two numbers is the margin.
Cavities are the capacity, not machines
A four-cavity tool and an eight-cavity tool on the same press are two different factories. Output is cycles times cavities, so the constrained resource is the mould, and a plan built on machine hours promises dates the floor cannot keep.
A mould is an asset measured in shots
Shots since the last service, which cavities are blocked off, which press it fits. Maintenance falls due in shots, not months, and a tool that is down takes its whole product range with it.
Colour makes a second item from one tool
The same part in two colours is two things to sell and one thing to make. Masterbatch belongs in the formula, the colour belongs on the item, and the changeover belongs in the plan.
