Kawader ERP — Chemicals & Specialty Products
A chemical plant sells a number the warehouse cannot see. Two drums of the same weight are not the same goods, and the difference is what the customer is paying for.
What a general system gets wrong here
Concentration is not quantity
A drum is two hundred kilos at ninety-six per cent active. The customer buys the active content, the yield is calculated on it and the price follows it, so stock has to carry the assay beside the weight or every figure downstream is approximate.
The by-product is inventory, not waste
A reaction gives you what you sold and several things you did not. Each has to be stored, sold or disposed of, and each carries a cost or a value that belongs on the batch that produced it.
A batch cannot ship without its certificate
The analysis certificate is produced from measured results on that batch, and it travels with the goods. The results belong on the batch record, not in a folder somebody has to find.
Shelf life decides allocation
Two drums of one product are not interchangeable stock. The earliest expiry goes first, and an order that demands six months remaining cannot be filled from a drum with four, however much of it there is.
