Kawader ERP — Dry Food Packing
Repacking looks like the simplest kind of manufacturing and is not. What arrives is never what packs out, and the gap is the margin.
What a general system gets wrong here
One bulk, many retail units
A tonne of rice becomes one-kilo, five-kilo and twenty-five-kilo packs. The pack is what is sold, the bulk is what is held, and the relationship between them has to be an item, not a habit.
Cleaning loss is real and varies
Stones, dust and broken grain leave at the cleaner. The loss differs by supplier and by season, and knowing which supplier actually costs least is a different question from who quoted least.
Packaging is a bill of materials
Film, label, carton and the food itself. A stockout of labels stops the line exactly as a stockout of rice does, and only one of those is usually being watched.
Give-away is a measurable loss
Overfilling by one per cent across a million packs is money, and it only becomes visible when declared weight and actual weight are compared on the same record.
Other trades

Reaction and blending, where a drum is a weight, an assay and a certificate, and the by-product is stock.
Raw batch to certified drum
Kawader ERPDairy, Juice & Preserves
Milk, juice, jam and paste, where the intake is priced on a lab result and the code on the pallet is the recall.
