Kawader ERP — Ceramics & Sanitary Ware
A tile plant does not know what it made until the sorting line tells it. The kiln decides the quantity, the sorter decides the product, and the customer finishing a floor needs the shade he bought last month.
What a general system gets wrong here
Shade, calibre and grade are stock dimensions
The same tile in two shades cannot be sold as one item. A buyer completing a room needs the same shade and the same calibre he had before, so all three belong on the stock record, not in a quality remark.
The kiln decides the output, not the order
You fire what fits the kiln. First grade, second grade and rejects all come out of one load, in proportions nobody ordered and everybody has to sell.
The product is named after it is made
Sorting happens at the end, so the production order cannot say precisely what it will produce. The system has to let the output be declared on completion rather than planned at release.
Metres, boxes and pallets at once
Sold in square metres, picked in boxes, shipped on pallets. All three units describe the same stock and all three have to agree at the counter, in the yard and on the invoice.
