Kawader ERP — Medical Laboratories
A laboratory's work does not follow the patient; it follows the tube. One draw becomes several journeys and has to come back together as one report and one invoice.
What a general system gets wrong here
The sample is the unit of work
One draw splits into aliquots across several analysers, each with its own queue and turnaround, and they must re-converge into a single report. The patient is the reason, not the record.
Panels are sold whole and performed in parts
A profile is one line to the patient and a dozen tests on the bench. The price sits on the panel and the cost sits in the parts, and only one of those is on the receipt.
Normal depends on the patient
Reference ranges shift with age and sex, so the same number is flagged for one patient and not for another. The range belongs with the result, not in a book beside the printer.
Contracts, not cash, are the business
Insurers and corporate clients bring tariffs, pre-approvals and rejections. The walk-in paying cash is the exception, and the system has to be built for the exception's opposite.
