Kawader ERP — Aluminium Works & Facades
An aluminium contractor is a factory and a site at once. The take-off that wins the job is the same document that cuts the profile, and the offcut it leaves behind is money either way.
What a general system gets wrong here
The cutting plan decides the cost
A six-metre bar cut into a window's members leaves offcuts. The quote only holds if the nesting was computed before it was sent, and the offcut has a value that has to come back into stock rather than be written off at the saw.
The BOQ and the shop drawing are one document
An elevation is a schedule of openings; each opening is a set of profiles, gaskets, hardware and glass. The take-off priced at tender and the order that cuts the metal are the same list seen twice, and they must not drift apart.
Profile and glass arrive on different clocks
Imported profile, powder coating and local glass run to three different lead times against one installation date. The date that matters is the one the scaffold comes down.
Installation is the delivery
Revenue is earned against an installed elevation, not a despatched pallet. A window fabricated, delivered and stacked on site is cost, not progress, and the valuation has to say so.
